If you thought that bullying only happens in school, you were wrong. Even though there are many people doing their best to stop bullying, it’s still there.
When a 48-year-old Sean O’Brien was bullied by a stranger who saw him dance and started laughing at him, Sean felt embarrassed and stopped immediately. This pic has gone viral since that moment.
How sad that someone would post such a thing about another person. Luckily, there are some awesome women out there who decided to step in and help out Sean.
Sean’s photo got into the hands of some women from LA who decided to hit the floor with Sean. One of the women involved was a social activist Cassandra Fairbanks.
The post was followed by this message:
Some celebs decided they would help Sean have the time of his life as well.
So before long, Sean realized that the entire west coast was looking for him.
Soon after that, Sean was flown into California to enjoy his VIP privileges. The Dance Free Movement organized the party and over a 1,000 people showed up to dance with Sean at a popular club in LA.
Not only did the party help Sean, but it also raised money for the anti-bullying charities.
But that wasn’t the end of it. Sean danced with Meghan Trainor on The Today Show, threw out the first pitch at Dodger Stadium, and even has since met Neil Diamond. Not to mention that he now has more than 64,000 loyal followers on Twitter.
This whole experience has most definitely changed Sean’s life.
Here’s Sean’s message to his new friends:
Enjoy yourselves. Have a dance. Have a drink … get me to dance with ya. I’ll try to dance with everyone I can.
Thumbs up for the ladies who were more than willing to help a man made fun of. Indeed, no one should be ashamed of wanting to dance and have fun. Check out the video about the “Dancing Man”. You sure will enjoy it!
